This hands-on experience teaches much more than gardening—it encourages responsibility, healthy living, and a deeper appreciation for where our food comes from. We are so proud of our students for the dedication they have shown throughout the growing season.

Under the guidance of Art Teacher Izzy Tucker, our talented students created original works for the annual New Outlook Academy Art Show and the JCJC Creative Expression Contest, inspired by this year’s theme: “Empowered to Rise, Restore, and Lead.” Through posters and creative writing, our students drew from their own life experiences to create meaningful pieces that reflect resilience, hope, and personal growth. Their projects also have the opportunity to be nominated for entry into the JCJC Creative Expression Contest.

We are incredibly proud of the creativity, courage, and hard work our students poured into each project. We are so proud of our students for sharing their talents and stories with such confidence. The art show was a wonderful reminder that art has the power to inspire, heal, and empower!

As the very first Dream Big Carnival, this special event brought the community together to inspire children to dream bigger, explore new opportunities, and simply enjoy being kids. From exciting activities and entertainment to creating lasting memories with friends, it was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and inspiration.
